About Facet
Facet is a lookup tool for search strategists and brand managers who want to know what the Knowledge Graph actually thinks it knows about an entity. Type in a company, person, or organisation, and it surfaces the structured data sitting behind the scenes: Knowledge Graph IDs, entity types, linked profiles, and whatever Wikidata has filed away. It won't tell you anything Google doesn't already know — it just saves you the trouble of writing the API calls to find out.
Who built this?
Hi, I'm Nathan Jeffery (aka @nuclearpengy — short for nuclear penguin). I'm a technology strategist based in George, South Africa. Over the last 20 years, I've worked across FinTech, EdTech, GovTech, and I'm currently working in Media.
When I'm not in conference calls, reviewing backlogs, or hunting down elusive Knowledge Graph information, I'm usually brewing, tasting, and learning about specialty coffee.
